Ashley-Lauren Elrod is a survivor-turned-social impact leader, redefining what it means to rise from trauma. As an Advisory Board Member for the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, Newly Appointed Community Board Member for Brooklyn, New York District 11, Project CAN HOPE, and a partner with the National Children's Alliance, she helps shape policies that protect and empower survivors and keep children and families safe and informed. Her work with Songs Against Slavery, International Justice Mission, Thistle Farms, Dream Center, and City Life amplifies her global impact, advocating for the rescue, rehabilitation, and empowerment of those affected by abuse and trafficking.

Known for her Emmy-nominated, Cannes-winning advocacy partnership with Dove, Ashley-Lauren uses her voice to challenge societal pressures and raise awareness around mental health and protections for children and youth. A board-certified mental health coach, she offers trauma-informed guidance and healing resources to survivors and those struggling with intergenerational trauma. Her upcoming works include The Diary of a Recovering Inner Child, a powerful exploration of healing and self-discovery, and Maya's Magical Adventures, a children’s book series focused on empowering children with lessons about body autonomy, self-worth, and how to recognize and speak out against abuse.
